The Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, (AODA) was passed by the Ontario Legislature in 2005 and aims to create a "fully accessible Ontario" by 2025. The 'Customer Service' section of the act became effective today, January 1, 2012. Our office has an Accessibility Policy in place that outlines our policies, practices and procedures and ensures that we:
- respect the dignity and independence of persons with disabilities
- integrate the provision of dental services to persons with disabilities
- provide equal access to persons with disablities
We are happy to provide a copy of our policy to patients or prospective patients either at the office or via email attachment. If for any reason accessible services are not available, the disruption will be noted on this website. We invite patients to provide feedback regarding our policy either via email (juliedds1990@gmail.com) or in person. Your comments will be reviewed and responded to by Dr. Bargiglione
The office has a wheelchair lift so we can accomodate multiple mobility issues. The interior of the office was also updated so that accessibility is possible with wheelchairs and walkers.
